Register Multi-factor authentication (MFA)
Multi-factor authentication is a method used to verify your identity when attempting to log in. At Absalon, we use the Microsoft Authenticator app as our multi-factor authentication (MFA) solution for accessing Absalon’s systems and websites.
When you log in using your Absalon credentials, you’ll be asked to verify your login by entering a code displayed in the app on your phone. The app is free to use, and you can install it on more than one device if needed.
Below, you’ll find a guide on how to set up MFA on your account.
1. Download the Microsoft Authenticator app on your phone
2. Go to: mfa.pha.dk on your computer
3. Log in with your Absalon account
4. Go to 'Security info' in the menu on the left and add a sign-in method
5. Choose Microsoft Authenticator
6. Select 'Next'
7. Click '+' og then 'Work or school account' on your phone
8. Click 'Scan QR Code'
9. Select 'Next' on your computer
10. Scan the QR Code from the website on your computer with your phone
11. Enter the shown number from the app and click 'Yes'
12. Select 'Next' on the computer to complete the setup
