Use your own devices
You are welcome to use your own devices on our network. As you could read in the previous section, we have ABSALON GuestNet - the open wireless network.
You can also connect your devices to the ABSALON Net (closed network) however; the different devices have different ways of handling it. You will need to use your Absalon username and password to connect.
Laptops
Our network supports all types of computers that are able to connect to the internet. We recommend that you keep your computer updated and that you have an updated antivirus program. In particular, you need to have the latest version of Java (go to www.java.com to get the latest version). You will also need an updated version of your internet browser. We recommend that you use either Firefox or Google Chrome as these works better with our systems.
Smartphones and Tablets
When using your smartphone or tablet on the ABSALON GuestNet, you can use the internet for as long as you wish, without costs.
