What is the calendar?

The calendar is  briefly explained  a combination of the teaching times and the education plans as part of the established integration between TimeEdit and itslearning.

In the calendar, you can therefore see where and when the teaching takes place, and which resources and activities are allocated to the teaching.

First you can watch a video that will introduce you briefely to the calandar. Below you will find step by step tutorial to the calendar.

The coloured schedule tiles are events in your calendar. They come from:

  • TimeEdit
  • Course
  • Projects
  • or they can be some that you have created yourself.

What you can do with the schedule tiles depends on where they come from, and what is connected to them.

In this guide, we will describe the various calendar functions.

You can click on the headings below and open them to read more about their subject matter.

Navigation in the calendar

You can navigate in and with the calendar in several ways. Here we will give you an overview of you options.

At the top, you can navigate using events (Plans) and using education schedules (Schedule):

  1. You can see all the events under 'Plans'. The events come from the courses that you are part of, as well as the projects that you are part of. That apart, you can also create personal events.
  2. Under 'Schedule' you can see a collection of all your education schedules, sorted in chronological order. It is therefore always the first coming schedule that is shown at the top, and you will then also have access to the resources and activities that are allocated to the schedule.

In the bar to the left of the calendar, you can control which events you see in your calendar.

If you want to see events from a specific course or project, you can click on it, and the colour of the circle changes to white, and then the events will no longer be shown.

When you have events in your calendar from your teaching courses, then you will have to option of going directly to the schedule in your teaching course.

Click on one of the coloured events to open a window:

Here you can see, that a schedule is connected to the event.

3.   Click on 'Schedule'  to see more. The following window will now open:

4.   Click on the name of the schedule to open it.

You will now see the entire schedule in the calendar. You can scroll down to see the resources and activities that are also connected to the schedule.
