Viewing plans in courses
Plans are at the core of itslearning, this is where the teaching takes place. Watch a short introductory video to plans here.
Below the video you will find a step by step guide for plans.
Both students as well as teachers will have different options to indicate what they want to see in the plan of the course, and how they want to see it.
We will start by showing you the settings for selecting what you want to see, and then we will show you the viewing options.
What would I like to see in the plan of the course
- By default, you will always be able to see all upcoming plans. You can click on the arrow on the right of the field to open a drop-down menu.
- Here you can choose whether only to view plans for today, this week, the rest of the week etc., but you also have the option to view previous plans that are no longer active if you want to return to something you have gone through. At the bottom of the drop-down menu, you can select 'All', and you will then be able to view all plans of the course, both previous, present and future.
- By clicking 'View all your plans', you will go to the calendar of the current week and be able to see all plans, if any, for that week.
How do I prefer to view plans
You can choose between to different options of viewing plans: Table or List.
4. Table
By selecting Table, you will see the plans in a horizontal view with a new plan on each line:
5. List
By selecting List, everything will be shown in a vertical view. The content of the plans will the be shown as you scroll down instead of being divided into columns:
Generally, we always recommend the table view.
There may be cases where it does not look organised, e.g. if the teacher uses many columns or includes a lot of content in one column.
